Alan Seabaugh
Frank M. Freimann Professor, Electrical Engineering
Director, Notre Dame Nanoscience and Technology (NDnano); Chair, Interdisciplinary Materials Science and Engineering Graduate Program (NDMSE)
Areas of Interest
The Seabaugh group explores new devices and circuits enabled by engineering at the nanoscale. Focus areas include steep subthreshold swing transistors, tunneling devices and circuits, back-end-of-the-line transistors, and ferroelectric memory.
The group works on problems across the technology development front from materials, device design, nanofabrication, characterization, and modeling, to circuits and applications. We value collaborations with industry.
