Bingyan Lu, a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, has received the NSF SpectrumX Graduate Research Fellowship.
The fellowship will support her work applying generative artificial intelligence tools to spectrum policy documents. She will also develop a unified framework for characterizing the efficiency of different spectrum-dependent radio systems.
SpectrumX is a National Science Foundation Spectrum Innovation Initiative Center led by Notre Dame’s Wireless Institute. The center is a collaboration of experts from more than four dozen academic institutions, businesses and government organizations, working together to advance spectrum research and education, foster collaboration and enhance management practices.
