A Special Message to the Electrical Engineering Class of 2021

Congratulations graduates - Detail shot of Engineering tassel with dome in background

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Department of Electrical Engineering, I would like to congratulate the graduates of the Class of 2021.

Your college experience has been unique, to say the least. You have survived half a semester of college from home, and then a full year of socially distanced labs and classes. I congratulate you on your fortitude in making it through, and I thank you for your patience!

This has not been easy for anyone, and I’m sure this has not been the senior year that you pictured when you started at Notre Dame. As you go out into the world, please keep your Notre Dame family in your hearts: the friends, professors, and staff who are now a large part of your life. Come back to visit often! We all love to see our former students and hear of your progress.

May God bless you and keep you.

— Gregory Snider, professor and chair
